At 27k1, our aim is to simplify the process and reduce the cost of gaining ISO 27001, enabling this valuable certification to be gained by those companies who thought it was too complicated, too expensive and beyond their reach.

The 27k1 ISMS is a total, ISO 27001 compliance software solution. It has been developed by co-founder Peter Farrer, who holds ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer qualifications. Having implemented numerous information security management systems that depended on conventional spreadsheet based systems, Peter recognised that a comprehensive application would resolve many of the problems associated with this approach.

Since its’ launch in April 2019, the valuable feedback received from our Consultant Reseller network has enabled us to further develop the software so that it is practical and intuitive for both ISO 27001 Implementers and Auditors.

Co-Founder Jeremy Martin brings extensive business development expertise to the company. Jeremy's background in the cyber security and IT sectors allows him to develop and market practical solutions that meet the needs of firms who wish to improve their information security posture and gain ISO 27001 certification.
